Australia is home to 8 of the worlds top 100 universities and can be classified as world leaders in some specific fields such as Mining, Oceanography, Sports Medicine, Dairy and Agriculture, etc. A large number of global environmental and planet science institutions are based here as the islands are strategically located in the southern hemisphere close to the infamous “Ring of Fire”.     Undergraduate studies in Australia and New Zealand can costs anything between Aussie Dollars ($AUD) 15,000/= per year to $AUD 50,000/= per year depending on the course you take and the location of the University. Once again annual tuition cost for Arts and Life Science courses average around $AUD 20,000, while degrees in Medicine and Research based courses can average over $AUD 45,000/= per annum.

    Most Post Graduate programs are funded by grants and corporate support, but you could still pursue one at your own cost. These courses will cost you between $AUD 22,000/= to $AUD 55,000/= spending on the specialization.

    The cost of living in Australia and New Zealand is higher than the global average and the annual budget for student can be between $AUD 1,600 to $AUD 3,000 per annum. With an abundance of activities to choose from, costs in the Oceania continent could really vary depending on whether a person takes upscuba diving or para-sailing or just Aussie rule Rugby as a pastime.

    Similar to other Commonwealth countries Australia and New Zealand accept global school certification like CBSE & ICSE apart from global certification like the CEI – IGCSE and the IB diploma. However, you need to prove your proficiency in English and the Australian Education Board recommends overseas students to do a one-year foundation course just to familiarize yourselves.
